CENTRAL TELECOM LAUNCHES NEW BASE IN THE NORTH


Burton-based Central Telecom has reinforced its position as market leaders in the supply of integrated communications systems with the official opening of a new regional office to serve the North of the country.

The company, whose headquarters is on Wetmore Road in the town, has recruited telephony and communications experts from throughout the north to establish its new base in the centre of Manchester's thriving business heartland.

The 14 strong sales and telemarketing team, who have considerable experience in the communications industry, will be based in a stylish converted office complex adjacent to The Lowry, the City's new luxury hotel, and will provide Central Telecom's comprehensive range of project management, installation and customer care services.

As well as servicing the company's existing customer base in the North, the new team will also be responsible for business development throughout the North Wales and Scotland.

"The launch of the new regional office in Manchester follows the creation of a separate operating division in Guildford earlier this year and underlines our commitment to providing our customers with the highest levels of service and after-sales support," explained Managing Director Andrew McDougall.

"The new operation will provide the full range of installations, from the straightforward requirements of small and medium-sized businesses, to the more complex solutions required by blue-chip and public sector organisations, including call and contact centres, private networks, computer telephony integration, CTI solutions and IP Technologies," commented Business Manager AJ Mohamed.
