2002 TECHNOLOGY FORUM HAILED AN UNRESERVED SUCCESS

Public and private sector staff from across the UK are staying up-to-date with the latest in communications technologies - thanks to leading systems integrators Central Telecom.

More than 100 delegates attended the second in the company's programme of Technology Forums, which took place at Alveston Manor in Straford-upon-Avon recently.

The Company, which has offices in Burton-on-Trent, Manchester and Guildford, stages its annual programme of free seminars specially for IT, Telecoms and Communications Managers keen to remain at the forefront of new and emerging technologies.

The one-day Midlands seminar brought together experts in the fields of IP Technology, CRM, mobility and multi-media solutions to give delegates a greater understanding of the latest technologies and the benefits that they present to individual organisations.

Central Telecom's unique format enabled delegates to tailor the event to their own individual requirements. Experts from the company's principal business partners, including Avaya, BT, O2, Computertel, CTI Data Solutions, Korus and Siemens, were on hand to meet with delegates and discuss their individual communications strategies on a one-to-one basis.

As well as the opportunity to discuss specific individual needs, a number of presentations and workshops run throughout each event covering such diverse topics as Voice Over IP, web-enabled call centers, mobile solutions, multi-media communications solutions and IP-PBX.

Delegates were also able to view new products and software and experience the latest technologies at first hand at an exhibition centre.

"Both the Stratford-on-Avon and Manchester forums have been a huge success, thanks to the collaboration between Central Telecom and its partners and we are receiving positive feedback from delegates, which is very pleasing," commented event co-ordinator Kevin Jones.

"The feedback we have received so far has been very positive - seminars such as these can play an important role in the decision-making process used to implement a new solution," added Kevin.

The last in this year's programme of events takes place on 17 July at Whitley Park, Godalming in Surrey.
