CONCLUDING FORUM ENDS SUCCESSFUL SERIES
Leading systems integrators Central Telecom have concluded this year's season of Technology Forums with a seminar for customers and prospects in the south of England.
More than 100 representatives from both public and private sectors attended the event, which was held at Whitley Park, Godalming in Surrey.
Central Telecom, which was recently voted Channel Network Company of the Year at the Channel Network Awards, stages its annual seminar programme to help IT, telecoms and communications managers stay at the forefront of new and emerging technologies.
Experts from the fields of IP Technology, CRM, mobility and multi-media solutions were brought together at Whitley Park to give delegates a greater understanding of the latest technologies and the benefits that they present to individual organisations.
Representatives from the company's principal business partners, including Avaya, BT, O2, Computertel, CTI Data Solutions, Korus and Siemens, were also on hand to meet with delegates and discuss their individual communications strategies on a one-to-one basis.
Central Telecom's unique format enabled delegates to tailor the event to meet their own specific requirements.
As well as giving delegates the opportunity to discuss their specific individual needs, a number of presentations and workshops ran throughout the day, covering topics such as Voice Over IP, web-enabled call centres, mobile solutions, multi-media communications solutions and IP-PBX.
Delegates were also able to view new products and software and experience the latest technologies at first hand at a specially created exhibition centre.
"Central Telecom recognises that the decision-making process behind choosing and implementing a new solution can be very complex and our seminars are designed to answer these and any other questions that delegates may have," commented Marketing Manager Julie White.
"This year's programme of Technology Forums has been a huge hit, thanks to the collaboration between Central Telecom and our partners.
Over the past three months more than 500 public and private sector staff have attended our events, which have been staged across the UK," added Julie.
"The seminars I went to on Wednesday were informative enough that I ended up placing a £10,000 order for an IP office - what a wonderful piece of kit!" said Gordon Simpson from the Tommy Appeal.
"The seminars were very enjoyable, informative and of course very well organised," added European Telecoms Manager Colin Doak.
Central Telecom was founded in 1985 and is widely acknowledged as one of the UK's leading integrated communications specialists. The company has more than 200,000 end users throughout the UK, ranging from SME's to blue chip and public sector organisations.
