CENTRAL TELECOM TO STAGE TECHNOLOGY FORUM IN EDINBURGH
Leading systems integrators Central Telecom are staging the first in this year's season of Technology Forums with a seminar for customers and prospects in Scotland.
The company, which is a market leader in the field of telecommunications, is staging the free seminar entitled 'Dispelling the Myths Surrounding IP Technology' at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Edinburgh on Tuesday 1 April 2003.
The one day seminars will bring together experts in the highly specialised fields of IP and VoIP, CRM, mobility and multi-media solutions in a bid to help business to stay at the forefront of new and emerging technologies and to employ them to help reduce overheads and improve their business communications.
The agenda for the event will be personalised to meet individual's specific requirements in order to give delegates a greater understanding of the latest technologies and the benefits that they present to individual organisations.
Representatives from the company's principal business partners, including Avaya, Mitel, BT, O2, CTI Data Solutions, Korus and Siemens, will be on hand to meet with delegates and discuss their individual communications strategies on a one-to-one basis.
As well as the opportunity to discuss specific individual needs, a number of workshops and presentations will run throughout each event, providing an insight into the latest in IP technologies.
Delegates will also be able to view new products and software and experience the latest technologies at first hand.
"We received a huge amount of plaudits about our 2002 seminar programme but detected a requirement for more information on IP technology," said Marketing Manager Julie White.
"We have tailored this years programme to focus purely on these new emerging technologies and hope it will bring about a greater understanding of their advantages for all our delegates," added Julie.
Central Telecom was founded in 1985 and is now widely acknowledged as one of the UK's leading integrated communications specialists and has recently been only the second company in EMEA to be awarded Avaya Platinum Partner status. The company has more than 200,000 end users throughout the UK, ranging from SME's to blue-chip and public sector organisations.
