AVAYA AWARDED 'VOICE AND DATA VENDOR PARTNER OF THE YEAR' AT THE CHANNEL AWARDS 2004
Avaya a leading global provider of business communications software, systems and services, has been named 'Voice and Data Vendor Partner of the Year' at the Channel Awards 2004. The night saw double victory as Crane, an Avaya Diamond-certified Business Partner that specialises in the enterprise and small and medium-sized business (SMB) markets, was awarded Voice Networking Distributor of the year.
The awards were made at the annual Channel Awards Ceremony in London. The judging panel recognised Avaya's dedication to continually evolving and enhancing its partnership with the channel. This was achieved through enhancements to its Business Partner Programme and commitment to working with business partners to develop the emerging market for IP telephony for SMBs through to large organisations. Commenting on the award, Clive Sawkins, vice president for Avaya in the UK and Ireland said: " We have worked really hard over the last four years to build our presence within the channel and to provide them with the best range of IP telephony systems and associated applications and services for their customers.
