CENTRAL TELECOM STRENGTHENS MARKET POSITION IN THE CITY


Communications specialists Central Telecom have strengthened their presence in the City with the launch of a new hi-tech facility to service their clients from London and the south.

The company, which already has offices in Burton on Trent and Guildford , has expanded its City operation with the relocation from its existing offices on Cannon Street to a new purpose-designed facility on King Street.

The expansion will enable Central to provide the ultimate in customer service and response to its existing City-based customers and make it ideally placed to capitalise on new and emerging business opportunities from London and the home counties.

Sales , pre-sales and engineering staff will be based at the new facility, which features a 30 person briefing centre, a multi-vendor demo suite, test and pre-stage facility and a dedicated source maintenance store.

It will also house Central's disaster recovery data centre, which includes back-up domain servers, exchange and Great Plains Server, so that in the event of a disaster at the company's headquarters in Burton, work can continue as normal.

The company have recently staged a number of seminars and events at the new offices to give existing and potential customers the opportunity to take a tour of the new facilities and meet Central's new City team and key personnel from Avaya, one of Central's principal business partners.
