CENTRAL TELECOM SCOOP 2 AWARDS FROM AVAYA
Leading business communications specialists, Central Telecom has scooped 2 awards from Avaya, leader in communication systems, applications and services, at the recent Avaya Business Partner Conference held in Madrid.
The company, whose headquarters is in Burton-on-Trent and has regional offices in London and Guildford, won the coveted Avaya UK Enterprise Business Partners of the Year and EMEA Business Partner of the Year. They are the only UK Company to be awarded the Avaya UK Enterprise Business Partner of the Year for the third year in succession and the first UK Company to win both awards together.
These highly contended titles are presented to the best performing UK Avaya Platinum Enterprise Business Partner and the Best Performing Platinum Partner across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
The EMEA Business Partner of the Year 2008 recognises the business growth, revenue achievement and general sales and marketing excellence across its 2,500 EMEA business partners.
Central Telecom continues to deliver accelerated & sustainable growth in Avaya enterprise space achieving revenue growth of 209% over the past 2 years and has been first to market with Avaya applications, including Avaya’s Microsoft OCS integration in the UK and the deployment of an Avaya SIP Solution displacing CISCO in Sunderland City Council.
The criteria for receiving the UK Enterprise Business Partner of the Year award is based on business growth, revenue achievement and general sales and marketing performance and in acknowledgment of Central’s achievements. Central continues to drive a high-level applications business, which has enjoyed significant year on year growth with Avaya’s solutions. Sales of AIC and Voice Portal to customers such as EDF and Travel Councilors, coupled with involvement in both UK and EMEA customer beta tests, demonstrates Central Telecom’s commitment to be first to market with Avaya applications.
